The Yearning for Freedom

The yearning for freedom is a fundamental aspect of the human psyche that endures despite any attempts at oppression or coercion. This mental fortitude is exemplified by those who have ventured out in search of a new life and have persevered through numerous obstacles and unfavorable conditions. Ultimately, it is the unyielding desire for freedom that empowers and sustains these individuals.

As I embark on the ferry to the National Park, the Statue of Liberty greets me from every angle. Among the diverse group of passengers, a large contingent of Chinese students stands out, perhaps on a group tour of the iconic landmark. Despite the long queues, visitors eagerly await their turn to explore the interior of Lady Liberty.
