The Accidentally Discovered Cave

The guide humbly requested for everyone to turn off their lights, plunging the surroundings into an abyssal darkness, devoid of any visual cues. In that moment, the guide poignantly remarked, "This is exactly how it looked when I first discovered this cave." The group marveled at the realization that it takes millions of years for icicle-like minerals to grow just an inch in size.

Legend has it that the cave in Blue Mound was stumbled upon quite by chance. Despite the height of summer, the temperature within hovers around a refreshingly cool 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors are cautioned not to touch anything within the cave, for it's peculiarly observed that the growth of minerals abruptly ceases as soon as human contact is made.
