As I walk barefoot on the fine sand of the beach, the cool seawater washes over my feet, sinking into the sand. With each deep breath, the briny scent of the sea fills my senses, while birds swoop and soar overhead. I scoop up a handful of sand and let it slip through my fingers, the soft white powder scattering gently into the waves.
The Northern California coast boasts impressive sea colors that can cool even the bones in Big Sur and Monterey. Even during summer, the cold wind blows strongly, and the trees' leaves appear to have been hit. Nonetheless, the streets exude a romantic atmosphere, and families with children can often be seen at the aquarium.
