The Profound Sense of Solitude

When I was young, I came across a fairy tale about a magical millstone that plunged into the sea, ceaselessly churning out salt and infusing the waters with its distinct briny fragrance. Even amidst the salty ocean breeze, the scent of salt is undeniably palpable in this place. After traveling some ten miles along the road that divides the lake, the sense of vibrant life seems to slowly ebb away, leaving one with a profound sense of solitude.

The pungent scent of salt permeates the air in Salt Lake, and the mere presence of water is enough to turn the lake murky and opaque. The sky overhead is often adorned with dense, dark clouds that seem to gather like a pack of wild animals lurking alongside the passing cars, ready to unleash a deluge of rain at any given moment.
